I'm stuck in the middle
Of what I should do.
Drivin a tunnel
I've already been through.
Drove out of the darkness,
Absorbing the light;
Now I'm back in the trenches,
Lookin for a fight.
The battle's between
My head and my heart.
You've re-lit the fire;
Ignited the spark.
I thought we were over-
I swore I'd moved on.
But now it turns out
You've been there all along.
Ridin my brain waves,
Surfin the swell.
And I'm back on that ledge
From where I once fell
Head over heels
And tumbling faster;
Stuck in the spiral,
Descent towards disaster.
The pavement is flyin
Fast towards my face.
I just need a chute
To slow down the pace
'Cause if I'm not careful,
I know where I'll be-
On a plane to Las Vegas,
Or down on one knee.

  • And I'm back on that ledge

    Stuck in the Spiral
    Descent towards disaster ( my favorite line)
    Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's Soul remains Unawakened.
