The Love Boat

Forward sprung, like the springtime clocks.
Round every corner, down every block,
Foot to the floor, key in the lock,
Set sail for tomorrow; our boat's left the dock.
Through the no-wake zone,
Out on the lake,
Free in the water,
My earth doesn't quake.
Soak in the sunshine, bask in the breeze;
No urge to perform, no penchant to please.
Free to just float, to go with the flow
