Do not like to read

I've been shaking this tree
I thought something pretty would fall down
but at my feet, I see only a big pile of leaves
Leaves are alright..
I could close this strange book
and never open it again
but there's a certain page I like to sleep within
Still, time is ticking, always ticking, hurting and helping
And now this spaceship that stole me into some hypnotic black hole
has stopped moving, my trance is broken in an instant
I observe my surroundings,
and remember why I never liked to read
"You, my love, are allowed to rot and to die and to live again more alive and incandescent than before"

  • I like this, PT! :) I particularily liked these lines:

"I could close this strange book
    and never open it again
but there's a certain page I like to sleep within"

And I agree, sometimes you get so caught up in a story, that when you have to stop (especially in the middle of it), or you've finished it, and reality comes crashing back in, it's such a bummer! :)
