i write lots of stupid songs, i decided to write one today in a pearl jam message pit message field... i usually use my note book and a pen, but lately i found the computer's notepad is another place i like to write... this is something new... and for the fuck of it i've decided to post it... please don't take this as the final version,,,, i'll probably rewrite it a million times and it will not be the same by my final version (which will never exist) anyway here it is.... it's a slow song if you want to try and recreate it (but i doubt anyone will)

taken apart

verse
.C...........................Am
you have my heart... don't some to stay
F.............................Em.......................G
time is of essence... you're leaving today
C...................Am
certain believers... mainly me,
F.............................Em................G
believe in a new beginning... don't want to believe...

chorus
D
an innocence gone,
...........Am
it's just another endless [day / stay / name / face] (repeat 4 times)

verse
C.........................Am
there's only this moment... and a lifetime ahead
F................Em.............G
life forges on... an irrelevant stay...
C...................Am
back to beginning... can't hold you no more,
F.................................Em...............G
sitting in quiet reflection... looking out to the sea....

chorus
D
an innocence gone,
...........Am
it's just another endless [day / stay / name / face] (repeat 4 times)

*guitar solo to the chords of the verse*

chorus
D
an innocence gone,
...........Am
it's just another endless [day / stay / name / face] (repeat 4 times)
