The Window

As I peered out the window;
I see the sun begin to go.
To make way for the moon;
I will be home soon.

The journey's been so hard;
So long since I've seen a friendly face.
I've grown accustomed to the harrowing sadness that seems commonplace.

I keep you in my heart;
I keep you in my mind;
In you is the only comfort that I seem to find.
"And all the thoughts that spin...'round my head... I'm spinning... I'm spinning...how quick the sun can drop away"

"Don't it always seem to go... you don't know what you've got till its gone...they paved paradise...and put up a parking lot..."

".... Your dreams.......I see......................"

    Very nice. I look out windows to think of the future and forget the present, too.
