I'm writing my music
but I see it in manuscript
Flying over the heads of wild hair
And the notes are black
In the blue air
But I. Wasn't. Ready. Then.
But I. AM. Ready. Now.
I'm in an open field with a single tree
and an emptiness that incapacitates me.
It's a rough touch on a fine neck with a
long finger makes a short prick to start
an old story with a new twist and a
final glory that probably wont be missed.

And I'm. Not. Ready. Now.
And I. Never. Will. Want. You. Still.
I. Hold. On. To. This:
I'm strong

And I carry a big stick.
