Why are you going to were the cold wind blows?
My dear friend, the wind will blow right through you.
There's no one to hold you when your cold

Why are you going up that mountain?
My dear friend, it snows up there in the summertime.
There's no one there to hold you when your cold

Why are you going to see the birds fly?
My dear friend, my lover, my soul,
thats far too high for me.
Dont stay up there too long,
Someone has to hold me when I'm cold.
It doesnt hurt.... when I bleed
but memories...they eat me
I've seen it all before,...
bring it on cause I'm no victim.

    Thats about a friend who's leaving and I'm making up excuses from them not to leave.
