shattered hymns
urgent cries
to an inattentive audience
mesmerized by marvels
veiling the burden yet to be paid
when the sun goes down
the day the vanity breaks

when you travel around the world, specifically in Western Europe, the UK and Ireland, most of the churches and temples built there are founded upon previously hallowed ground held sacred by the Celts or the Druids or some sort of Pagan deism... some date back to the neolithic times and stone age pieces, some even further back, pre-dating stonehenge.

it's almost like they said: we're going to kill your religious leaders, destroy your faith, convert your people and write your system of beliefs out of history BUT, just in case, we're going to build this church here, just in case,

just in case we were wrong to do it and perhaps your gods may forgive us in our haste.

    fuckers.

Constantine is probably in hell. If there is a hell, considering it was written up as a human construct in the first place...

    nice work yerrey.

    thanks..
