Always praised for being strong
Defying those fuckers
Receiving the love that makes one smile
But never the kind…
To share with that special one

d.o.a
not dead
but damaged on arrival
this clearance item is still on the shelf
while the high priced items are taken
exorbiated for their price

investing for tomorrow
there nothing worth living for today
happiness might break the bank
but the feeling beats the value
even if its false

imagining himself down the boulevard
burning the gas
burning the love that he once had
as he smiles seeing his love in the rear view
the kind that comes w/o a price
