she came in unannounced
With such grace
That the pendulum stopped
The stand still which followed
The turnover that would take place

The air had a different feel
a little nauseating
taking sometime to acclimate
to the altitude that left others stranded

plotting for the greatest execution
with no time to think
emotion decided that the plans were drawn up long ago
at first chance the risk would pay off
certainity arose out of coincidence
this was fatal
but the thought was fogged by the feeling
that touted that this was in line
with the dream that would end nightmares

the days had a different feel
the scenery with the sudden façade of life
that hid the vermin behind the elegance
the bends within the mile-high elation
and the nightmare in the form a idealistic dream
once the pendulum realized its destiny

  • oh god, you just told my story...... this is brilliant stuff. Makes my heart and stomach churn like a sickening rollercoaster ride would. I hate my pain but I love this poem.
