an attachment to the shadows
echos from afar
continually rebounding
standing up to recieve
only to sit down once more

asleep
trying to dream
awake
waiting for the rain

she left her silhouette
fixed in his mind
reality has planned otherwise
it will vanish before the winter arrives

the equation took her into account
if only her's had similar variables

his life has been defined by tomorrow
a life through escape
forgetting to stay awhile
and smile for once
for love is present
he would know
that's if he stayed awhile
