all i could remember was those brittled pedals
finally getting some rain via a storm
a storm that until now seemed to be just a distanced threat

i see her passing by
i anticipated her every step
i collapsed with her step

all i could remember was those tear-stained letters
already dehydrated by the goodbye
a goodbye in which, the ink was cracked and mirrored its author

i confronted her ghost once i shut the door
the windows were opened but her heart has closed
