Oh God, this is my first time as poet. It's crap but it's me lol!

Alrighty, I'm not in a good mood, have just typed in what I feel and I guess that is what poetry consists of. Have not changed the lines, just gone with the flow. Perhaps next time it might be a little lighter and legible. BTW, I love the stuff posted here. I'm rediscovering words although I can't quite express them myself but will learn. Just like an old dog


My life is in decline
The scotch and my imaginations
Are interferring with my brain.
I dream of people and relationships that
Could never work and I fear I
Have left things too late.

Too late, the incline is steep and treacherous,
Rocky and cavernous and
The chances I dream to take interfere
With the morality of my life.

The morals of society bind and hinder me
As I run my three legged race towards the end

A good girl I am doing as others wish
And desire but my desires have no course,
Just meanderings along the life line of my hands
Which are bound to the post.

A totem pole with faces and relationships
And friends and relatives that have passed me
By with no grace nor love to help guide me
Through the dark, grey, creased and worn
Crevices that is my mind.

This is very good. Don't worry about moods and such. Just let it flow. I find it hard to believe this is a first though?

I don't think this is crap!!!! Give yourself a little credit! "A totem pole with faces and relationships"--great line! As even flow? said-just let it flow!

lol! Thanks guys. Yes, it was a first. I'm in a better mood today because it's the weekend the day after tomorrow. Aaaaah. I think I would write better when I'm feeling foul.
