    Music
    is from ages back
    when things were new.

    Wind’s whistling crispness
    bent trees
    like guitar strings,
    not pollution.

    Neanderthal clans
    chanted moon songs,
    rocks and sticks.

    Fire crackling
    embers rose
    to raw grunting sounds
    breeding and conceiving.

    Depicted on the cave walls
    a future
    a sound of understanding.
