I hate your company.
I'm trying to watch TV
And you're right in front of me
Interrrupting,
Bragging,
Making vain attempts to attract me.

I despise your thoughts
Your ideas
And your dreams.

You are an unessessary pitstop.
A spider web in my hair.

I might have purchased something
From you before
But not now,
Now that you have entered my home
And shouted at me
Repeatedly.

So I won't forget you
I couldn't if I chose to.

You twenty seconds of torture
During my favorite program.

I just read the floating poem, and I was surprised that you wrote this, also. That one just seems less of a knee-jerk reaction. Did you work longer on that one, or am I way off base, here.

Both posts are good...very different, but good...this one made me laugh and the floater was more thought provoking. I like the variety in writing and sometimes people express different things depending upon your mood. Thanks for sharing! :)
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!
  • hmmm....made me think of my father-in-law, coming to visit!!
If I could be anything in the world I would be your teardrop...I would be born in your eyes, live on your cheeks, and die on your lips.
