Poem for the Simpleton

(Three Years of Purple Contact Lenses, My Silence and Counting)

I love myself or I want to die,
unconscious moodswings make it hard to decide.

I love her dearly yet remain on the fence,
Faith fights doubt but faith speaks French.

Hey there brain, what do the scapegoats claim?
Hey there heart, session fixation or is it pain?

I have swam this circle, this pool of gray.
Treading water, with no shore upon to gaze.

There is no more dream, nothing to dream at all.
I cannot be this far gone, I cannot be this small.

I should hope so... unless of course I do not control my own thoughts.

Just a test run.. I am going to hunt down poems about PJ and I am starting from the last pages of the forum. I thought this one was nice and I liked how justam was in response. Remember this member justam? Its kinda funny to see all these user names I hadn't seen before...wonder what happened to them? Did they drift away from PJ? Did they pass? curious. Well I want to find more poetry dedicated to PJ or the players alone. And if I see anything that catches my eye or is a blast from some of the current members past, well I may just have to serve up some of these golden oldies. Wonder if this will bump this post up to the front. Lets see...nearly 600 pages with about 20/30 posts each I guess Ill finish this little trek some time next year!
I remember when, yeah. I swore I knew everything, oh yeah.

Talon Tedd, I don't remember this member and I kinda wonder why I asked such a stupid question back in 2003...

    What was I thinking?!

There are absolutely no stupid questions justam and I don't think you resemble that remark at all. Don't be to hard on your self. I liked the poem itself and the fact that you had an incidental part in this was a small factor that made me decide to comment and see if a post from 2003 would go right to the top of the pile. I just want to say that I am sorry if this took you by surprise, that was not intended and I have the utmost respect for you.
When I was working on my first poem in this forum, I was in dire straits at one point and I asked for some help from the members. You, were one of two members (rollings) that came to my aid and I am very grateful for that. I think it speaks volumes of your impeccable character and generous goodwill. All well exemplified in your writings...and as for having a bad/off day...we all have those, hell I'm an all star.
I just want to find more poems about PJ and there is a mountain of stuff to go through from the past. But I can see that you and others may be a bit alarmed about stuff being dug up from the past. It makes me consider the implications of what I just did and how members may feel about seeing something all of a sudden come up like that. As a member I want to and will be considerate of the other members. I want to find stuff to add to my post is all. Mostly for my own enjoyment but also it would be a easy place to dig up poems and prose about PJ, especially stuff from yesteryears.
If anyone has a comment about this issue please give em up!
    Here are some questions?

    1. Are every and all posts in this fan club fair game for comment at any time?

    2. Giving proper credit to the author, can I rewrite a poem into my post without their consent? If yes, does this seem ethical or does that even matter if all posts are fair game?

    A. For the record there are currently three poems other than my own in CAN YOU FEEL IT. One was posted by the author and the other two were posted by me with their consent. If I find one from the past and the author is no longer a member, I will post it with the proper credit. Otherwise I will ask for permission (or should I say blessing) first.

    3. When a poem (or anything) is posted does it automatically become the property of the 10c and PJ?

    A. My own answer for that is you are welcome to it (all of it). I wrote "Can you feel it" for PJ, my small thank you for all the pleasure. And just like the man says "you don't give blood then take it back again." Plus, the integrity and character of PJ is unquestionable, they have proven over and over that morality and ethics are the cornerstones of their band....you kids:)

    4. Should I at least give an active member a heads up if something they may not like is about to rear its ugly head again?

    5. Does anyone know if actalo is still a member?

    6. Will the 10c ever send me that awesome Halloween shirt for 2013? If you are overextended, please print more, I would like that great shirt and not a refund. thnx ^:)^

An administrative insight to these queries would be nice. :)]
