this is actually a translation from a poem I wrote in spanish, it's more like words actually, since it was written in minutes, while listening to a live band that was creating the most beautiful music...
So anyway, here it is, untrimmed as it first was conceived
If you cried,
the world would come to an end
This I know.
Brief flood that would overflow
This makeshift equilibrium
In which we swing ourselves.
If you cried,
I could not bear it
Knowing myself to blame.
But how beautiful your smile is
When it does not complain
When it rises spontaneously
In response to some sillyness
That I express
It is pure and innocent
As the music you write
It is pure and cures tormented words
And there is no hostility when I write
Just air… air and thanks.

I never tried / felt the compulsion to write anything while listening to live music. Records sometimes, but not bands. Maybe I haven't learned to listen properly yet...
I like the lack of hostility too. When it comes about. Nice one Buru!
it was just an instrumental band (as in no lyrics - just music)
otherwise I could never write anything, it would be too distracting
