Lost Hearts

Your Heart was lost in Atlantis.
I was swimming out to sea - out to sea.
I swam through a million shark teeth,
to bring your Love back to me - back to me.
You were lost on my shore,
the one you were sinking in - sinking in.
Tonight I saw a Beautiful girl...
A Beautiful girl - a Beautiful girl.
She was floating away...

She will float away.
She will teach me how to walk on water,
right after I learn how to walk in the rain.

My Heart is as lost as it seems,
in your Atlantic dream - your Atlantic stream.
My Heart is forever lost,
in the ocean Blue - just like you.
My Heart is drowning in Atlantis, too,
without you - without you.
I am lost on your shore
the one you don't want no more - want no more.
You threw me away...

I never walked away.
I never learned how to walk on water,
but she taught me how to drown in the rain.

I'm floating away...

    sounds like a drowning dream....feels like a silent scream.....
    ....they're asking me to prove why I should be allowed to stay with my baby in Australia, because I'm mentally ill......and they think I should leave......

    thanks for replying to my lil' poem. i wish it was a song...maybe one day. i'm glad the floating part was noticed...that's what i felt like when i was writing it. thanks again. :)

    How sad, i know the feeling of drifting away from someone, so i can relate. Ha- i should use the words for a song in my band, then your wish would come true lol. j/k

    cool *song*! As I was reading it it started to flow in my brain, and I thought "this would be a good song" then I read the post and you mentioned it as a song. I like the correlation of Atlantis and Love being "LOST".
