I look at the wall
where your words used to hang
*BLAZING*

I can still blink them
into burning bright
although they appear
to be all but
extinguished.

They will forget
until some song or scent
reminds them,

But I,
I
shall walk
with lids shut
and eyes
WIDE OPEN!

And I couldn't think of anything but Him.
Although the water was placid and serene,
The peace that came over me when I was with HIm,
    Or,even thought about him,
set a precedence in the air that not even God could part.
The love I shared for him was quite unimaginable,
    for with out HIm,
    my world would stop.
    For without HIm,
    Life would end.

Yeah, I haven't seen much use of the colors in any poetry lately and I do like the effect it has. :) *KAPOW* :D Hee Hee! I feel like I'm on some old cheesy Batman episode! :p

Welcome back from the shore, Ali! :) You use the colours by doing this: type the word(s), then and there you have it! :)

I like being by open water too, it IS peaceful! I find it's very calming when I can just sit back, block out all the distractions and just listen to the tide roll in. It always makes me feel refreshed! :) - And often inspires me to write, even if the writing has nothing to do with being by the water, it just makes me feel creative and alive. :)
