My wish...

I wish I rose every morning
To kiss all of your beautiful eyelids
And watch them flutter and fill with lucious life

I wish I helped your gardens grow
That flower petals opened wide
And reached out to me in the sky to say hello

I wish that I warmed you
I'd love to touch your soft, supple skin
And soak up all the chill from deep within your bones

I wish I could brighten your days
So you'd raise your smiles up to me
And open your arms as if to embrace my hot heat

I wish I rained down the light
To the secret clearing in the forest
And you and your lover could find quiet peace beneath

I wish I could dance with the rain
Refract and send rainbows all 'round
And watch you and your children marvel at the beauty

I wish I painted the sunsets
With pinks, reds, oranges and yellows
And make you sigh and remember your first kiss...

I wish...

    Mmmm BE my heart simply *danced* when I read this. The sheer beauty of it just grabs my heartstrings and p u l l s s s s s s. :)

    My favorite part:

    just because.... I love the feel of trying to warm someone up. To *BE* that source of comfort and escape from the harsh cold. To just want to feel yourself soooooaking up all that coldness. Right from their very bones. To feel it quickly and steadily leaving their body, only to go to yours. So that they are as comfortable as they can be. That feeling... of being that source of comfort. It's amazing! I wish I could do that for someone.... it's a lovely feeling to see them snuggle up warm... all because of you! Hasn't happened in a while... but I know someone that *I* would love to warm up. :) hee hee.

    But also BE. Your wishes for everyone are so gorgeous. The entire rest of the poem is just completely beautiful. I wish I had more to say about it. But it really did make my heart dance. And my eyes smile. :) Loverlyyyy. :)

    As i was reading that i got a huge picture just painted in my little head. I like your use of colours and imagery. Very nice indeed!
