What's that on your breath?

The smokey skies
lightly danced.
The curtains parted
and smiles appeared on the faces.
Feeling light in my heart, head, feet and step,
I gingerly floated circles around butterflies,
playing chase with the ever changing winds.
Then, light as an eyelash resting on your cheek,
I whispered a sweet caress
and drifted into the next syllable
to escape your lips,
riding the breeze
of your breath.

Forget your perfect offering, there is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in. - Leonard Cohen
