I remember how you smiled,
you glowed in your innocence,
sparkling brilliance
and bubblegum kisses.
Your hair gleamed
and your skin shone,
you radiated goodness
and we always enjoyed
eachothers company,
we swam,
we biked,
we baked,
we swung,
we talked,
we laughed,
we bitched,
we cried,
we sneaked,
we peeked,
we laughed,
we learned...
We weren't afraid
of what people might think
when we were holding hands.

    we laughed
    we cried

    together
    standin above the crowd
    he had a voice that was strong and loud and
    i swallowed his facade cos i'm so
    eager to identify with
    someone above the crowd
    someone who seemed to feel the same
    someone prepared to lead the way

    You know, I purposely avoided the "we laughed, we cried" together thing! I still think they're a little to close together but that's okay.
