Making a molehill out of a mountain
and a whole lotta nuthin' 'bout sumthin',
but it's not about control,
it's not about control,
it's about you!
You,
the walker of tightropes,
the swallower of flaming swords,
the one jumping through the hoops,
the loops,
and the story's always changing
but the plot remains the same,
remains,
just like you
because you cannot jump
to the last page.
Forget your perfect offering, there is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in. - Leonard Cohen

Good read BE! :) Sorry I have not responded to PMs - been super busy lately...thanks for your words & kindess! :):)
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!
  • very interesting...love this one!!!
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
    (Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
    (And function)
    Function is the key

I really like these lines. :)
can't define why, but for some reason they.. interest me. :)

    a good one!
"Don't be faint-hearted, I have a solution! We shall go and commandeer some small craft, then drift at leisure until we happen upon another ideal place for our waterside supper with riparian entertainments."
  • twin1, thank you! :) And no worries on the replies, sheesh, we all got lives to live!!! :)

    depop-a-roo-bop!!! :D Why thank-a-roonies to you too!!!

eMMI, some people think of all these great things they want to do in life but are afraid to actually do them because they are in such fear of not knowing what the outcome will be.... I'm glad it interested you and thank you for commenting! :)

    T
{{{T}}} Thanks, T! :) LOL! I know, sometimes some lines just reach out and grab you, and I think part of the reason they're catchy is because we can't explain why they got a hold of us in the first place! :)

    no I'm not. :D
(I try not to be too kind, sometimes that's found to be boring and blunt.. but I try to be kind still. :) )

Okay, I won't besmirch your good name by saying you're too kind ;)....I'll just say you're sweet, 'cause I think you are. :)

  • Is how this seems to me.

'Making a molehill out of a mountain
and a whole lotta nuthin' 'bout sumthin' '

    'and the story's always changing
but the plot remains the same'

I'd like to see more on this one.

:) Why thank you! And please, feel free to add on or run with an idea on this one, sistanumsy! I'm sure I could build from the lines you quoted above but I'm horrible at adding on to my own work! :D
