I got the call
that told me she's okay,
relieved she's not part
of the tragic news today,
I've moments of tears
and I hope and wish and pray,
that all the loved ones
will soon be out of harms way.

    :) Thank you! You know, I started writing last night and I wrote about being there last year and the things I saw and experienced and how crazy it was that what was going on was going on...but man, it's so hard to put all my feelings and thoughts on this into anything really coherent. I just want the people there to get out of there and find safety and be healthy and have water and food and diapers and a place to lay their heads...just want 'em to be safe, man, all of 'em! Shit, not just them, everyone on this planet who has to endure this type of loss, tragedy. I mean, kids are dying of starvation and are living in squalor and in war torn cities every fucking day and what am I doing--sitting here, wishing them well and maybe sending some money to lord only knows who, hoping it's getting to the people that need it...

    that's true Being - when you have a list of all the places you wish you could make a difference, it means you have to choose some of them if you're gonna get off your butt, but what about all the others? there are so many people suffering, but there's so many of us who aren't, surely we could do something together to help the others? (glad your loved one is safe :) )
    ....they're asking me to prove why I should be allowed to stay with my baby in Australia, because I'm mentally ill......and they think I should leave......
