Kalena, Oh Kalena!
Such a troubled soul.
Please don't let the pain consume you,
don't let this world swallow you whole.

Kalena, Oh Kalena!
You see the darkest coulds.
Please see the sun that's peeking through,
don't let the shadows be your shroud.

Kalena, Oh Kalena!
You try to extingish the light.
Please feel the brightness within you,
don't let the demons cloud your sight.

I know you can be strong.
Please walk with head held highly,
don't live within the past wrongs.

    love the song, BE. I think because of the 'Kalena, oh Kalena' line in particular, i imagine Cash singing it. Anyway its got that simple direct power to it to me.

    Thank you all for responding to this one! :) It's for a special 'lil lady whose been in my heart-thoughts and deserves a 'lil sumthin' special herself. :)

    Wish I could sing it for you all!!! Sometimes when I write, I actually do write my poems as lyrics because there's just a melody in my head as I write. I'm glad you guys noticed the lyrical quality to this! :)

    as always someone comes along in my darkest hour,just like the cop that got me from the bridge, it made me sad at first that he was able to stop me,and it upset me when they took my freedom(if thats what you call it) and put me in the pysch ward,but looking back i deserved to be there, i wish i wish your song would come true,i never knew the depth of my sorrow would be so overwhelming,i miss my daughter i loook into the sky at night,i just want an answer or a sign,,,but it doesnt come,it never comes,it makes me crazy ,i just wanted to say goodbye..love you to pieces,alli, youve got a beautiful beautiful heart,thankyou,
