Alien?
Being Enlightened

Do you ever feel like a stranger
inside your own head?
Overturning stones
best dressed in moss,
and absolutely dreading the inevitable cross?
Do you ever feel like liquid
inside your soft flesh?
Sliding around
in your sensuous skin,
reliving dreams and long forgotten sins?
Do you ever feel like an alien
inside your thick marrow?
Drifting along
in newly formed bones,
feeling awkward and afriad of your home?
Step outside yourself a moment, you're not so alone!

Oh, mais oui, mon petit chou, calamari! But I don't like the type served as rings, that's the fast food version, IMO. Bleh! Always disappointing. The calamari that comes with the heads and the tentacles, served with tzatziki, NOW THAT'S THE SHIT! Love it! Still won't lick it but love it! I'm more of a gobbler. LOL!
Hee Hee! Hmmm, I could go a scoobie snack right about now....have to wait until the work day's done for that, however.

EvilToasterElf! I'm so glad you liked my mossy line, I was quite fond of that one as well. Thank you so much!
And last, but certainly not in the least bit, least, Ali-bali!!! Girl, I have eaten calamari! (see above comments ) I just don't lick it, well, I may be tempted if it was totally coated in tzatziki and dangling in front of my face... but generally, I prefer to munch on it.
Thank you so much, {{T}}!

I could see the first one and feelo the second one
LOL! *hoot, hoot* Why thank you, burtschips! And yes, perhaps seeing the shiny side of some rocks occasionally is a good thing, that is, if they indeed have a shiny side. Some, however, have been turned long ago, have lost all their lustre and are best left dressed in their mossy coverings; that's just my opinion, of course.
