ticketmaster - what a joke

I tried at 9:59 to get tickets and hit refresh about 4 times, then it locks you out. saying that it does this to avoid automated crap, and says to try back several minutes later. What a fricken joke. anyone else have this problem

    i gto right in at ten and they said tickets were all gone already - about 4 seconds in - i have NO CLUE how anybody gets tickets like that

    I got on immediately at 10 ... and they were apparently all sold out somehow. So don't worry. You didn't miss much.

    Ticketmaster sold their soul to ticket brokers and scalpers years ago. There were probably less tickets available today than there were for the TenClub sale.

    me too...and on crap-bay there are a bunch of tickets that were listed at 1000am today...that sucks.

    The only problem I've had is searching for tickets at 10:01 with 2 Ticketmaster windows open and it coming up with no tickets available. Sold out at 10:02. Nice.

    i was able to get tickets. not good ones, but still.

    don't hit refresh. instead, search for the artist, and then click on the show you want from the search result.

    if tix aren't on sale yet, don't hit refresh. go back to the search results and click again.

    worked for me today! woo hoo!

    As others have said, the ticketing agencies have programs to storm the TM system, bypassing the security code screen and use bot sys to fill everything out. TM knows about it and is having people try to write new security codes but the scalpers have better techs who always are a step ahead.

    Unfortunately there is no way around it unless a band has a 10C style ticket system. We just need them to get bigger servers come ticket days! I live in LA and will have to pay premium $ to see any of the shows. Price of being a fan I guess.

    10:02? Try 10 oclock and 5 seconds on my end - i clicked find tickets the moment the clock hit 10 and already gone

    Right at 10am on the dot I was firing through the Crapmaster screening process trying to get a ticket to the LA shows.
    NO WAY, NO HOW, NO CHANCE AT ALL!!
    I proceeded to try again and again while I called ticketmaster at the same time both attempts proved futile.
    WHAT A BUST!!

    As posted here earlier ticket brokers have computer programs that crush any opportunity the general public have at purchasing a decent ticket.

    I am still fiery pissed about that 10 Club sale damn it I had a pair of tix and my purchase didn't go through.

    I got 2 pairs of tix for EACH berkeley shows. I got these all at least 10-15 minutes after 10:00

    You cant just give up at 10:01

    They really should include the ticketmaster time on their website everytime you hit refresh waiting.

    Supposedly if you have a fast enough connection and keep hitting enter to refresh it will think you are a bot even if you aren't.

    I didn't give up and wound ups getting 2 single Santa Cruz tix at 10:10 and 10:12 plus 2nd Berkely even though I thougt I was on 1st it apparently just switched me somehow. On the first one though I nearly needed cpr when it timed out on my credit card but I managed to get back to that page and get it done in time.
