I wanted to swim
right into
the lake's lips
as they kissed
the clouds,

I rose with your swells,
and felt your pull,
your riptide,
gently lulling me
from the security
of the shoreline
to the
sweet embrace
of your seas,

Two hawks circle above,
dipping, diving,
delighting my
divided attentions,
my spirit soars
on high
as I swoop and glide,
my heart beats
in tune
with your motions,

I want to let you,
let your waves
envelope me,
and deliver me
to a simple paradise,
I want to take wing,
let the wind
take me where
I belong.

    how many times did we sing out this lyric?
    to the stars, to the trees, to the sun, to the lake... to whomever would listen... :D

    i can just picture you on your little swim, creating this lovely poem, while Irisheyes and I slept. :)

    It makes me want to be that Eagle,
    soaring over you
    as your body moves in sync
    with the motion of the ocean
    and the waves
    pushed you
    pulled you
    caressed you

    As the water swells
    took you to Paradise
    and you looked up to my Eagle Eyes
    and I looked back at you
    and said
    Fly with me
    Swim with me
    Glide with me

    From the water to the sky
    from the sand, take my hand
    and soar, with me
    Create Good Things........
