Blue Onions and Green Taters

Blue Onions

blue onions
turn wrists out
and beg to be sliced,
diced,
I cut them twice
just to be nice.

Green Taters

green taters
glow in the dark,
they pick them at night,
twilight,
they'd not get it right
if taken at first light.

Best thing I've read on here for a few weeks. You created mind onions and mind potatoes. I can see, smell, touch and taste 'em. That's what poetry's all about.
  • :) Thank you, {{Fins}}! I wanted to create a whole colourful garden but only got to the onions and potatoes. :D If anyone else wishes to post something yummy, say, hmmm, maybe about carrots;), please feel free. :)
