It seemed as though
the breeze was there
to rescue me.
Hands through my hair,
across my face,
my chest,
my thighs...
no pretension,
now, wondering why?
The sun melted
through the day
as sweet as dew.
Drips of honey on my lips,
sweetening my tongue,
my heart,
my mind...
no pretension,
now, wondering why?

You stand before me,
naked and raw,
open and innocent
in all your knowing,
beyond all knowing,
to a place,
past all space
one could trace...
above the hum,
above the glare,
above the plains,
above all the chains,
above the sea,
above the cloud,
above the sky,
above wondering why...

Above, above, above...
Is there peace?
Is there love?
