The Truth

Writing about anything is stupid,

    And that's the truth. Except that truth is just a word, at a distance from extra-linguistic truth, which is just a phrase, trying to bridge from the word 'truth' to truth, which is just the word 'truth' without the inverted commas. You're right. Writing about anything is stupid. Especially the truth.

    Spot on, Traver. Agreed! I'm going to listen to some Arvo Part. "Spiegel im Spiegel". I recommend it as what I feel to be a minimalist contemporary classical masterpiece, in my eejit's opinion.
