Intellectual Inferiority

What lesson comes from the ease in surpassing
The inferior player in a match of wit?
An insulting confrontation bitterly amassing
Within an enraged heart: acidic pit.

Built up the walls of pride were
To the skilled player of the game.
A crushing defeat would soon incur
“A pathetic loser,” his title of fame.

Vengeance is considered but only a recourse
As his inner organ sorely boils.
If and should become just one source
Of misunderstanding, the mind’s eye coils.

Truthful bricks rain down with precision
Upon the vain presumptions of a loser.
Lucid but unattainable is the witty decision
Exhibited by a victorious amuser.

amongst the crowould and cruels bent on subversion
stands the one contemplation of the battle, witch for some,
    is seen as conquest
    yet...

    go ahead man
keep as cool as you can

    face piles of trials
    with smiles..

    does rile them to believe
that you perceive the web they weave..

    and

    keep on thinking free..

Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green
  • What does it matter as matter concerns
    Itself with endless existence?
The thought coming from a single mind
    Is my perpetual encumbrance.

you're both right in your own way.....
and I'll fight in my own way....
    my delight was my childhood....
    during which I accosted many
and they knew my heart from teh common
    penny.....
    battles are my future......
    teh baby is my husband
    and I am having husbandry-love
    right now....
    holy cow
I think I may be right....
so drop your arms don't fight.....
    I'm genevievre.....madelin.....all those
who kill you in your sweet repose......
give up......I feel the sword now ready.......
I will kill you when you are most heady......
    I fell like God's gift.....
the gifts He's given me can't be counted......
you'll each die as I'm mounted......
    I'm poison with a smile
    beguiling biblical and prophetic.....
    mate, you're all pathetic
....they're asking me to prove why I should be allowed to stay with my baby in Australia, because I'm mentally ill......and they think I should leave......

    nice.

and yeah, human competition for anything but survival is pretty well farcical to me.

and no argument obviously won from the start will ever give satisfaction, it is as if your opponent leaned upon his sword to give you your victory.

    it's all so small.

this is an amazing piece, but the last two lines elude me... who's the winner? the loser? i don't get it :)

it means that the arrogant intellectual had his way, pats the loser on the head and says, "you got potential kid, maybe we'll meet again... at the crossroads" but doesn't really mean it.

nobody won, but the intellectual doesn't know that. for he can be as hollow as dead wood and termite territory.

watch the mood. LOL... all conversations can be minimized to retail sales...

it burns it burns it burns it burns

all this stupid fucking rat-hole wit match
    makes me sick
    even when I "win"
which is as often as I choose not to play the game

    Satre, indeed... fuckers.
  • To return to the poem ...

For me, the loser is the one whose hopes were dashed when the winner so easily trounced him. He thought he was the best, but soon found out otherwise. The worst part is not that he lost, but that he can comprehend the great skill of the winner and will never attain that level of skill.

I've always thought that it was a shame that people needed to use words to make themselves superior to others.

The arrogance of it. Walk away.

I am perfect proof of the need to walk away, regardless of skill or otherwise... I am too easily baited into an argument, and I've never liked that about myself.

The winner should take zero pride in besting someone lesser. It is their weakness that they decided to jump on the issue in the first place knowing that they would win. An obvious need to suddenly verify ego.

The loser, however brave in their folly, is actually the winner, in my humble opinion, because they learned something, gained something. The winner gained little but lost time and a temporary sense of damn-I'm-good.

I believe that the so-called winner here, doesn't deserve to be called one at all.
