The Inspiring

roads that i'm fighting
they're not receding
air that i'm breathing
i await the inspiring
belatedly moving away
the future is here
i'm just wanting it to appear
and i'll appear to stay away
the visions it seems
my soul appearing on TV
with no one breathing
shrinking down into seeds
i shout for them to move
the gas is seeping in
the thought too crude
i'm in no mood to let them in
revolting is the feeling
that i'm showing my back
but i leave some space
and wait to attack
life is changing forever
and now is relieving
tomorrow melts together
i have no time to be sleeping.

it's been a good long while...
took a wee break in the spring of this year...
i really like this "poetry" page...

again
um...
yeah, the old place was hard for poets... i think this'll be great
i wish we had access to the old pm's at least
ah well
time for new ones, i guess
good to see ya again and lots of other oldies especially... i had a diff name on the previous bbs so i thought i'd re-establish some sort of rhythm with this one...

lifeisworth... yeah i was a bit of a newbie too... the name's a secret tho.. nah, i was scarlet_letterman. didn't post much at all, it had a bad vibe to it and it didn't appeal much to me...
this place feels better
i went to 5 aussie shows... 3 in Melb, 1 in adelaide, 1 perth (front row!!).. fucken great experience.. 5 shows in 7 days.. i was sick for two weeks after it lol..

good stuff. I wish I could be as lyrical. You have rhythm and assonance like no other in this piece.
