Poetry Press Update

Hey Kids.

I have sent an email off to Kat about whether or not we can even use PJ Poetry Press in the terms for the book itself.

I'll be emailing iUniverse.com later today to see about what they do as far as compilations are concerned.

I cannot remember how many folks were really into this idea but it was at least 15. If that's the case, then I would say somewhere between 3 and 4 poems apiece would do the trick and give the book adequate length and depth.

Radar, if you have any tips on this that would be great.

If any of you want to start submitting pieces feel free to email them to me. I'm setting up an internal mailbox under my email addy for the poetry press.

feel free to abuse it (minus the enlargement pill ads CranMal! ).

But I'd like to see us pull this off. I don't know that we'll be able to do it as a charity piece through the iUniverse.com profile but you never know. If anything we can make a pledge to place proceeds somewhere for one benefit or another.

But FIRST we need to agree on format and whether or not we are even going to do a book. Let me get some info while you all think on it.

It would be an honor, though, to be published or printed alongside the lot of you, so I am stoked, as they say, about doing so.

How clean do we want to keep this? I'm all for no holds barred... but then proceeds probably shouldn't go to a children's fund or anything.

it's freedom of speech baby!

but I think it should be up to the writer which one's they pick. That way it's their opinion on what they feel is best.

Also, we have an awful lot of work around here. I STILL think it would be cool to do a series.

Nah. You don't need to fall in love to write poetry! Maybe love is good inspiration, but inspiration is everywhere! Like shaving your pubes! Inspired me!

Give me a BREAK, Radar... it would take at least 3 of my pieces.

ALSO.

why would we limit content? no fun no fair no foul. Say what you want. mean it as you like.

But let's do this. We've got the goods. Let's find the way to package them up.
