ode to the beauty in a sundress

the pastel pattern and the fragrance of flowers,
i swoon, i delite in her sweet voice,
i feel the soft breeze of her breath,
electrified by the slightest tease in her eyes,
her hair smells of the south,
and her mouth is sweeter cream sherry.

her limbs are lithe and her hands carress her dress to keep the wind from lifting her above the crowds,
she is at once more lovely than the day,
and she shines upon mine eyes,
and she suggests that we should find a soft shelter,
and i am taken to paradise on earth.

i will remember forever,
as i will never forget,
the beauty dressed in a sundress
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

    Gee, that's purdy.

Do you write poems like that for the lady in your life?
If so, she's very lucky. Made me swoon a little.
