just returned from bonaroo .. sunburnded to a crisp.. yet so beautiful my little girl is a woman now .. i am happy and sad.. i have never been so close to this girl as i am today.. why?

i trust that paternal proclaims of love shall reach your heart and show you how much the love of your father envelopes the scene and in a word, is the solid rock to which you may always flutter your wings above to alight upon my love for you little one, my precious little girl...
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

It sounds like you love your daughter very much. I would think that her safely homecoming had something to do with it. My son is 19. I am always madly in love with him when he comes home safely from his adventures.
    I was alone
    I took a ride
    I didn't know
    What I would
    Find there.

seldom do such warmth, sincerity, love, and eloquence meet......
....they're asking me to prove why I should be allowed to stay with my baby in Australia, because I'm mentally ill......and they think I should leave......

Such a beautiful proclamation of a father's love... a love so strong that only few can put it to words like you can, olderman. If every father loved his children like you love yours... this world would be so much happier. There's nothing like the love of your father and/or mother.

What you feel for your daughter, I hope my father feels for me. Lovely lovely lovely, olderman. Such love is rare, even in families. Very precious, it is.

wow. that was truely touching olderman. As a parent I can totally relate. And also as an only daughter, I can relate too.
My Dad and I are very close. Thank you so much for those very beautiful words.

i got a call from my ex, my daughter's mother,
    the group missed the plane..
    missed the plane..
    from Barcelona, Spain..
    hoping to catch tomorrow's flight..

i want my girl to come home
    she's been gone too long
she will get on my nerves when she arrives,
yet, i can be ok with that

i cannot understand how a group of students can miss the plane?

    who said..

    "the plane..
    the plane"
