LOVE AND SLEEP by Algernon Charles Swinburne

Lying asleep between the strokes of night

I saw my love lean over my sad bed,

Pale as the duskiest lily's leaf or head,

Smooth-skinned and dark, with bare throat made to bite,

Too wan for blushing and too warm for white,

But perfect-coloured without white or red.

And her lips opened amorously, and said —

I wist not what, saving one word — Delight.

And all her face was honey to my mouth,

And all her body pasture to mine eyes;

The long lithe arms and hotter hands than fire,

The quivering flanks, hair smelling of the south,

The bright light feet, the splendid supple thighs

And glittering eyelids of my soul's desire.

:p
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

    *sigh*... gorgeous, thanks olderman :)

I have a book of sensual poetry that I cant find since I moved.
It is poems from the early 1900's so its tasteful yet bursting with repressed passion. Those are the best ones I think. :)
As soon as I run across it I will post a few.

    You’re a bum
    You’re a punk
You’re an old slut on junk
Lying there almost dead on a drip in that bed
    You scumbag, you maggot
    You cheap lousy faggot
    Happy christmas your arse
I pray God it’s our last

nb.....'last' is pronounced with a British accent to rhyme with 'arse'.....
