light fall

can you fold from sadness
can you bend, and double
and reel
is it real?
once a thought in the sky
(a tender push placed it there)
it still sits, her beacon
casting shadows on her dream
and does it reach and touch
like fingertips, a brush so light
a stroke, the picture
and when she sleeps an answer

and the wish still remains
and the sky still holds true
and the night, with eyes closed
bring the whispered hello
we're all sentient snowflakes

share, this piece is wonderfully sad. every word fits so well.

it's got a Downie-like crypticness/odd-familiarity to it and that's obviously a very good thing when it comes whatever "good art" is.

    wonderful piece
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
    (Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
    (And function)
    Function is the key
