The Moon...

Something I wrote along time ago...sort of about a girl...may be a little cliche...but I thought of posting it after I saw 'of_the_girl's post on AET.....


The Moon


Consuming the sky...
Focused.
My attention, my eye is on you...
Free of worries.

The dominant reality in which you posess...
I forget the little things.
The unimportant uncertainties that overwhelm me...
Im lost in the color and power...
The afterglow in the cool night sky....
The stars, the clouds...yet im focused on a color.

White, to yellow, to orange, to
Swallowed by the clouds...
Leaving nothing but a distinct glow.
A glow which brings me back to a memory
Of a night when my worries left me
I gave them to the moon,
as she sank away to nothing.

In tern, I recieved everything.
Blessed by a memory
And inspired myself to give in to love...
Trust nature and let it take its toll...

Free mysef....from the world.
