I m trying to look up
But nothing seems to heal
A time when Im lonely
A time when nothing seems right
Like my world is crumbling
In the hands of another
I feel weak
I cant mend these tender pieces

Once close
But now blind
Betrayal in your eyes
With no sign of regret
Only dissapointment
Im stuck to a memory
Of a simple time
A time long since forgotten
When we were one
When the rest was insignificant
When we were happy
I was happy....

    i never understood why people had to be in love to be happy. like hail,hail. how come the lucky ones are the ones in love. I think if you took love out of the equation you have so much more room

    the sadness and truth about love, real love is that whatever brings us that much happiness and joy will eventually brings us sadness, you ultimately cannot have one without the other......

    Its seems to me almost like a gambling equation....where you cannot experience real loss...unless you have something to lose....and you cannot lose everything until you have given everything. Hopefully one day we will all win.

    Humans are for the most part social and communal creatures, it's not falling in love that's necessary but surrounding yourself with it, some of us have friends we love, close family, close children, it's just that everybody needs to have a bond with somebody or something to share those unspoken thoughts in our heads, to know the way our ideas link together is not totally alien from everyone else, some people find that connection through poetry, or literature, some I'm sure from many other ways.

    Or maybe that's just me. What do I know I just steal your bagels.
