trappedinmyradio

i walk...i fall down
i look up...see raindrops fall
head thuds down in the mud
i close my eyes
i wipe away the day's cobwebs
body relaxes into the soft earth
i press my fingers down
i roll to one side...no reason
foot rests on the other
i feel the weight beneath
i know i have to get up

my clothes are matted
as the sun dries the mud
the water slowly fades away
i step over cracks in the sidewalk
avoid red-brick altogether
it's almost 5 pm...dinner
eggs overeasy...two biscuits
tall glass of coke

I meant to post yesterday, but I only got round to doing it now.....I'd like to read more of yoru stuff.....:)
