walk away -
don't look now
we may smile
the same
but i hope
i'm nothing like you
and in the end
i hope they let me pass
with the stylish thinkers
and the deep dressers
with all of my faults
temporarily
i'm still seated
but
it's time to move again
it's time shake it up
to shake it out
leave it all
somewhere
hidden, not deep
inside, but out
of me
for the best results
rinse
and repeat
I'll dig a tunnel
from my window to yours

    I felt this was kinda sad, trappedinmyradio---kinda like someone who's trappedintheirownskin...I caught a feeling of hope at the very end though--

    again, i'm enjoying saturdays in my computer class, reading excellent poetry. thanks trapped, this is a good read :)
    Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
    As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
    And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
    He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
    What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
    Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
