we all came and went with the wind
dancing around and up then down
bodies illuminated by tirangular flames
bass vibrations carrying us away
the land - like earthquakes - roams
edge of the country-side
where jonah's giants are found

stars are quick scribbles in the sky
as our heads pass back to forth
side and side and around
the words are written by our own eyes
in lucy's vast universal playground
she can tie a knot about o'rien's belt
but her kiss is forever banished

never to slow us in the sand
as if we had painted faces
back in the tribal stages in the south
the hemisphere of the gods
forgotten past of aristocrats
scared to reach back into the bushes
grasp on to a head-dress and fall

into the night - into forever
into peace of mind...
I'll dig a tunnel
from my window to yours
