    I WAS THERE!!!! Up close on Mikes side as well.

    It was funny because he actually set the amp on fire as well (which is where I guess the scorch marks on the guitar are from).

    ...it was the same festival where Foo Fighters played for the first time in the UK and even though the festival organisers wanted them on the main stage, Dave Grohl wanted (demanded?) to play the Melody Maker tent (which houses no more than a thousand or so people) so it was a little dangerous to say the least!

    There's a good interview with Soundgarden from the same day as well....
