i posted this earlier but it hasen't come up so i'll do it again ok here goes
the foundations of my life have split
the atom in two
how could they do it to you?
drop those tears
now get out
of your big dismal
and touch the sky
you've got to forget those tears
cause they only reach the ground
you've got to touch the sky
all around you there's faceless men
forgetten their creator
but you stopped me slipping
off the edge
my burden lifted
now i can touch the sky
you can't use the failings of others
as justfication
for your run in the mud
for he is the key
to escape your prison
drop those tears
forget those tears

not a dedication to Ed but I "borrowed" the use of the phrase faceless men from he and another lead singer who used that phrase. Is it obvious what the song is about?

A Surprise Left, your poem brought that out. It was not there before i read what you wrote.
thats the first peice of creative writing i've done since a class i took last year. i should do it more often not because i'm some great writer but it feels really good to get things out. I won't go into detail about my song/poem but its basically about my parents splitting up when i was a little younger.
