As we said goodbye to a friend
My brother this was your life
Is it selfish to wish you were here
With us, not them please tell me this is not the end

As we said goodbye
Mixed streams ran down
The gourges that represent our faces
This salt gave rise to wine
Friend here is a tribute to you
It was a pleasure serving with you

You were sitting amongst us
Re-telling old stories, shedding tears of joy
They are but a drop in the ocean
As are our lives
We are but grass
That tomorrow forgets
Reedem the days my son
For the days are evil
Where does your treasure lie?

So as you sat amongst us
Before your spirit left where you used to dwell
Our tears came only from joy
No ill words hidden for such a rightous man
We know that if he knocked today
The only words you would hear
Well done with you I am well pleased

Would this be true of us?
What can we learn from you?
You walked the narrow path
Up the slippery hills
We shall seize the day
Not because we seek the lights
Our master is not our name

We all want to know our fate
Our future lies in front of us
But like my sister
I can't read the map
I don't believe in a god
Who laughs at our misfortune
Our path predestined
Of this I am sure

For even if these is a line in the sand
Push, don't sit that you need to strive
What is Paris Hilton doing?
Frankly I don't give a damn
Believe what you will
That is your right
But I choose to win
So I choose to fight
The wind is blowing cold
Have we lost our way tonight?
Have we lost our hope to sorrow?

Feels like were all alone
Running further from what’s right
And there are no more heroes to follow

So what are we becoming?
Where did we go wrong?
