Two lifetimes ago, I think I knew you
And we smiled, and played games on the beach.
We didn't have much, you and I
But we had each other, and that was enough.
We grew old together, we fought
We had children, and we took them to the beach.
We sang songs in the cold evenings,
And made different music in the firelight.
But now, I know you from far away,
No beach, no kids, no songs we sing together.
But I know that I knew you once, and loved you.
And that is enough.
...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.

    discription of dreams
It was a dream, not a nightmare. A beautiful dream I could never imagined in a thousand nods. I saw this girl next to me, she wasn't beautiful until she smiled. And I felt that smile come at me in heat waves following. Soaking through my body and out my finger tips in shafts of color. And I knew somewhere in the world, somewhere, that there was love for me.
