no key

i want to know you
i want to show you
if i could walk through the door
if we could just unlock it

brief rays of sunlight you send bring a smile
wish i could feel the sunlight always
mistaken words, in our denial

why i'm standing outside is a mystery
i keep knocking to find you
you won't open to try to know me
i can't promise you could ever know me
this door that seems to have no key
lay down all thoughts; surrender to the void
~it is shining it is shining~

  • Sometimes words so nakedly uncomplicated and free of conceit reveal simply some of the mystery of things. This is lovely.
