a dream i had

You came to me in a dream while I slept
after I prayed for you to show me the way

We were at the beach on a sunny day
And a crowd was staring out to sea

Out of the water in the distance
There arose a gigantic rock
a sculptured spirit
Everyone was in awe of this sight

I started to choke, and you patted my back
As I spit out some kind of thistle and leaves

What are you trying to tell me?
you've never come to me this way
to show me a sign, it makes me think
I know you can't come to me often
but I am part of you
and you are part of me
when will I see you again?
In a dream?
lay down all thoughts; surrender to the void
~it is shining it is shining~
