he's walking along yet another road
all he has is his name
the setting sun is behind him now
the darkness he can blame
he's been walking forever
at least so in his mind
his final destination
cannot be this unkind -
another thoroughfare blind
he's been searching forever
for a place to call his home
someone to give him directions
and a visit, to not feel alone
he's lost his sense of direction
he's lost track of the time
this road goes on forever
this road he cannot find
another thoroughfare race
against time
